What is Purchase History and what can I use it for?

With the Purchase History feature you can add all kinds of data connected to your recipients as a complementary layer of data to your normal recipient database(s) in Carma. The data will not be overwritten by the next import which means that you can add events to specific recipients whenever a new activity is completed.

And it doesn’t need to be a purchase, it can be whatever you want it to be, for example participation in events or upcoming travels.
Just like a normal recipient import you can chose which data you want to import, based on your strategy and resources.

When you have a Purchase history setup you can easily use Carma’s powerful segmentation engine to calculate stuff like total order values, find the ones who bought a specific product or why not send an email ten days before an event.
